Week 3 of the 2024 college football season is over and done with. We had a solid week going 2-1 and picking up .8 units. The season record now moves to 8-4 +3.6 units. Below I will recap the three games we had and the results of them. So let’s dive in… see you in the DEEP WATERS!!!
In the first game of the week we had a Friday Night Lights matchup between the Kansas State Wildcats and the visiting Arizona Wildcats. In this game we had a play on the under 60 points. Thankfully the game started slow and ended very lopsided as Kansas St out matched Arizona 31-7, for an easy cash to start the week off.
In game two of the week we had an afternoon or morning start, depending on your location. We had our first two unit play of the season with Alabama vs Wisconsin under 49.5 and 49. Unfortunately, Alabama was way too much to handle for this Wisconsin team and we missed this total by three points. The final score was Alabama 42 Wisconsin 10. This pushed the week into the negative with one game left.
In the last game of the week, we had South Florida -12.5 as a 2 unit play. They visited Southern Mississippi and handled business. It did not start well as Southern Miss jumped out to an early 14-0 lead but USF scored 28 unanswered points and put the game away late for the easy cover. USF won the game by the final score of 49-24.
So there you have the results for week 3. We ended up with our first multi unit plays and went 1-1 in those. Overall we went 2-1 +.8 units. This now brings the seasons totals and record to 8-4 +3.6 units. A very solid start to the season and hopefully the trend continues.
See you all soon for week 4!!!
